Foraging & jam-making experience
Enter the peaceful boreal forest and experience it like the locals do by foraging for wild berries! Enjoy a quiet wilderness fika before your local guide teaches you how to make jam over the open fire with the freshly picked berries, so you can take home a taste of the north.
Forest hike to the historic Kåtabo cabin
Explore the boreal forest by foot and hike the old logging trail up the mountain. Enjoy a picturesque woodland lake, the enchantingly peaceful forest, and the beautiful view from the top overlooking Råstrand village before enjoying a homemade Swedish fika by the fire in an authentic 100-year-old log cabin.
Peaceful pancake lunch by the river & jam-making workshop
Settle down by the beautiful Vindel river on comfortable reindeer hides. You will be shown step by step how to make traditional jam with locally foraged berries picked by your guide and learn about local history and culture while the jam is simmering over the fire. Your guide will prepare classic Swedish pancakes in front of you to be enjoyed with your newly made jam for a cozy nature lunch.
